So many people want to stop smoking but they don’t like the way they feel when going through the withdrawals, in fact they don’t like is so much that they will continue to smoke for years after trying to quit.
It has been said that people are motivated by one of two things at any given time – pain or pleasure. We do things to avoid pain or we do things to gain pleasure. It is important to remember that some things associated to pain are good while some things associated with pleasure are bad. If there weren’t we probably would not end up in the mess we do so often.
Smoking typically starts out quite pleasurable but over time smoker’s end up feeling ill, tired, and simply unhealthy from smoking. They get cancer and other illnesses which cause them to live unhealthy lives and die prematurely.
Stopping smoking is a choice and you have to choose whether you are going to go through some short-term pain in order to experience long-term pleasure or are you going to continue to avoid the pain while throwing your money and life away? Stopping smoking is the best thing that you can do for you and your family.
